  1. Damn, I haven't had a Lowenbrau in 12 or 14 blue moons! All most beats the Budweiser wagon and Clydesdales. I know I Know, but you got to admit it at least though.

  2. I did about 10 hours worth of Oktoberfest in 1977, much of it in the Lowenbrau tent. Still have one of the glass 1 liter mugs.

  3. I lived in West Germany for 3 years. Yes, that long ago. The only thing better than Octoberfest is Fasching.

  4. Grandpa Mike was born in Munich. Emigrated to America in the 1890's, worked hard, sent money/ticket for his bride to be, bought 2 lots, built house on 1 and garden on the other. Grew grapes/made wine and brewed beer in the basement. He died 10 years before I was born-he would have been ecstatic to have known that his only son (with 5 older sisters) fathered nothing but sons. All the priests in town came over at 4pm Saturday to imbue and tell stories. Pretty sure he did not have any problem getting past the pearly gates.

  5. Question is, will the 'Zlims be virtue signaling?
