For those of you who are interested in machineguns, supressors, and short-barreled rifles and shotguns, this is a very informative article that offers some hope that the National Firearms Act could be possibly be headed for "extinction". The latest chapter in this constitutional abortion which began in 1934 recently occurred when Kansas state law was found to be in conflict with federal law. A military surplus store owner began to build and sell supressors believing he was legally operating according to his state's law. The article is long, but the author does a good job giving the history, revisions, and the possible outcome of this case which will more than likely end up before the U.S. Supreme Court.
