The TSA is Getting Into Our Heads.....
There was a bit of confusion at the store this morning.
When I was ready to pay for my groceries, the cashier
said, "Strip down facing me."
Making a mental note to complain to my congressman
about Homeland Security running amok, I did just as
she had instructed. When the hysterical shrieking and
alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was
referring to my credit card.
I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.
They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!

Shoe Laces.....
Shoelaces, which are also called shoe-strings, shoe laces, or boot laces, are a system commonly used to secure shoes, boots and other footwear.
They typically consist of a pair of strings or cords, one for each
shoe, finished off at both ends with stiff sections, known as aglets.
Each shoelace typically passes through a series of holes, eyelets,
loops or hooks on either side of the shoe. Loosening the lacing allows
the shoe to open wide enough for the foot to be inserted or removed.
Tightening the lacing and tying off the ends secures the foot within the
shoe.

As with all good bacon lovers, I had to rip open the package and dive into the cornucopia of tasty
hickory smoked yummy bacon jerky. TWO GREASY THUMBS UP!!
It Loving Bacon is Wrong, I Don't Want to Be Right.....

I've Been At The Machine Tool Show..
I went to "METHODS MACHINERY" in Sudbury Ma. to check out their Metal Storm Show.
They had a full warehouse of various vertical and horizontal machining centers running demos.
Wire edm machines and robotic loaders were also being demonstrated.
Overall it was a good show.. I'm glad I left the checkbook at the shop.

I finished the first two books of "The Hunger Games" trilogy.. which were excellent so far by the way.
Since I am waiting to borrow book 3 I have decided to start reading an "On The Beach" by Nevil Shute.
I had to read this back in high school and don't really remember much about it.
I know they made a movie, but I have never seen it. I guess a rental will be on the agenda after I finish the book.

Texas Style Justice.
(CNN) -- A Texas father caught a man sexually
assaulting his 4-year-old daughter and punched him in the head
repeatedly, killing him, authorities said.
The father was casually acquainted with the alleged abuser, said Lavaca County Sheriff Micah Harmon.
Neither has been publicly identified.

Los Angeles County officials are investigating what appeared to be a
pair of lungs found on a sidewalk in unincorporated South Los Angeles.
A citizen called to report what she thought were the organs about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 13100 block of Avalon Boulevard, said Sgt. Robert Dean of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies responded and called the coroner's office to the scene. Additional testing will be done to determine if the remains are in fact lungs and whether they are human, Dean said.
"We don't know what they are," Dean said. "It's really weird."
