1973.. White Lightning

I grabbed a beer last night, put my feet up and found this gem on the toob.

Here's an interesting scene where Sheriff JC Connors, played by Ned Beatty, finds out about "Gator".

The 50yo dialogue is quite interesting.   HERE'S THE FULL MOVIE<<

NEWCOMERS = /ˈnuˌkʌm·ər/ someone who has recently arrived in a place, or a person or organization that has recently become involved in an activity

It is so nice to wake up on this dreary cloudy morning to learn that we as American citizens have been bestowed with a brand new term the by the Bribem administration and the demonrats. They have "coined" the word NEWCOMERS to describe the cutthroat-murdering-drug dealing-stealing-welfare parasite-banditos who the globalists have paid a lot of money money to get here for the purpose of diluting enclaves of white conservative voters by distributing these illegal persons with almost zero skills/education to offer our society into the hinter regions, cities, and towns across FUSA to change the social and demographic voting patterns and ultimately collapsing our economy/nation into ruin so it can be built back into a "more" Orwellian society (i.e. Michigan and Minnesota 25 years ago vs. now). I will not start on the other nationalities/races who have "snuck" in for the subversive purposes of what God only knows. This colossal goat mating is not happening by chance as most here well know.

Newcomers: Let that word sink in a while. The demonrats are already asking for more of your tax dollars to fund these NEWCOMERS/programs where our young women are being raped and murdered as are our children. The truth of the matter is that the demonrats have introduced a "bi-partisan" border agreement (Bribem has endorsed by the way) asking for 1.4 billion additional tax dollars "for cities and states providing critical services for these NEWCOMERS". The bottom line is the current administration has zero plans for slowing, much less stopping, this illegal-traitorous invasion facilitated and largely funded by the globalist via the puppet regime of a dementia riddled pitiful old man who literally does not know where he shit last.
These men in power do not care on iota about you or the American people. These maniacs are fueled by their self-serving greed. Most who visit here are already well aware of what is taking place. How do we fix it? I do not have a solution to fix it all at once, but common sense tells me that if rats are getting into my pantry at night and chewing on my groceries, the first order of business would be to find where the rats are entering and stop them.
Prepare accordingly. There will be an exam pertaining to this subject matter.

UPDATE: Explosive device ??? Was The Alabama Attorney General's Office targeted?

 UPDATE:

Folks, the only reason I post this is to illustrate to you the absurdity of this story. Now, there are reports of a bomb squad detonating a suspicious package outside the AG's office. The story still does not say definitively whether there was any explosive other than the one LEOs detonated. The AG is requesting the FBI, ATF, and other federal agencies assistance. I am scratching my head and wondering for what. I still think this is some justification for shiny vehicles, robots, drones, overreach, etc. Below is the story.

ALEA, FBI, Alabama AG ask for public's help in investigation of explosive device detonated in Montgomery

State and federal law enforcement are asking for the public's help after an explosive device was detonated outside of the Alabama Attorney General's Office in Montgomery over the weekend.

At 3:42 a.m. on Saturday, an explosive device was discharged near the intersection of Washington Avenue and South Bainbridge Street outside of the AG's office in downtown Montgomery.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Mobile and the Alabama Attorney General's Office, is requesting the public's assistance in identifying persons of interest related to the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to please submit tips at 1-800-CALL-FBI and upload any digital files online here.

Special agents with ALEA's State Bureau of Investigation received notification of a suspicious package at approximately 8:19 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, and immediately responded to the scene and deemed the area safe. The suspicious package was confirmed as the device which was detonated on Saturday.

Troopers assigned to ALEA's Protective Services Division and Special Agents assigned to ALEA's Hazardous Device Unit (HDU), along with Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and Officers from the Montgomery Police Department, also responded to the scene to assist. No injuries or damage to nearby buildings were reported.

According to ALEA, no further details are available as the investigation is ongoing.

This is the original article:

ExplosiveThis is the original article: device detonates outside Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall’s Office.

The article I found states "there were no injuries and there wasn't any property damage".

An investigation has been launched after an explosive device was set off early Saturday morning outside the office of Alabama Republican Attorney General Steve Marshall.

In a statement on Monday, Marshall said that there were no injuries from the explosion and that Alabama authorities would be further investigating the incident. No possible motives have been given and no suspects have been identified by state authorities.

“In the early hours of Saturday, February 24, an explosive device was detonated outside of the Alabama Attorney General’s Office building in Montgomery,” Marshall said in a statement. “Thankfully, no staff or personnel were injured by the explosion. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency will be leading the investigation, and we are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.”

Sounds like "non-issue" to me.

Shocking phenomenon: Alabama man struck multiple times by lightning in his lifetime, then gravesite also destroyed by lightning

Childersburg, Alabama is known as the oldest continuously occupied settlement in America. The city, which sits just 37 miles southeast of Birmingham was settled in 1540.
Legends and lore have passed through generations over the years, but one story, in particular, is a bit shocking.
William Yeldell Cosper was struck by lightning at least five times. However, two of those times were after death.
Born to the Rev. James Berry Cosper and Sarah H. Dejournett Cosper in 1844, Cosper would live for over seven decades before succumbing to his fate.
Rumor has it that Cosper survived being struck by lighting the first time. He was sitting on his front porch at the time. He was injured and it took time for him to recover. According to gravesite records, his wife, Martha Carolina Butts Cosper, helped nurse him back to health.
However, he had already had a close call before. A month prior to the strike that hit him, he and Martha were sitting in the front room of their house, spinning wool. A lightning bolt struck the wool, setting it on fire.
Certified Broadcast Meteorologist JP Dice said when a person is struck by lightning, injuries can vary.
“You can see someone’s heart stop because of the disruption of the electrical signals that drive the heart,” Dice said. “They can be revived by CPR in some cases. Also, when they are struck by lightning, there can be severe burns. A bolt of lightning can be over 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s hotter than the surface of the sun.”
There are no details on what Cosper’s injuries were, but he is thought to have had a short recovery. Not long after recovering from the shocking event, Cosper was inside his home in Monroe, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, when it happened again.
