Black Rifle Coffee Company, founded by veteran Evan Hafer, is responding to Starbuck's CEO Howard Schultz' pledge to hire 10,000 refugees. Schultz' announcement came last weekend in response to President Trump's recent executive order temporarily barring refugees and visa holders from seven terror ridden countries.
"We want to shift the conversation away from foreign policy to domestic issues that hit closer to home. We need to keep in mind that the four things we care about at BRCC are Family, Business, Veterans and country," the company posted on its Instagram page. "And when we say 'country', the taxpayers. Mossberg introduces their "Shockwave" 14" barrel "non-NFA" 12ga. pump shotgun at the 2017 Shot Show. The gun is fully BATFE compliant being 26" overall. I still am not 100% clear on how this precludes the 18" barrel rule, but who am I to look a "gift horse in the face? Check it out HERE. I bet they sell a ton of them too.

Cockfighting: A Gentleman's Sport/Cockfighter's Reap "Year of the Rooster" Bonus in Thailand
This story caught my eye as cockfighting still goes on in many rural areas of the South. I do not believe cockfighting is as nearly as popular as it was twenty years ago in these parts. I remember in those days one particular cockfighting operation that had a very large arena with seating for a couple of thousand people and there was standing room for many more around the main and drag pits. People would come from everywhere to watch or participate in one of the premier events. The first "big" Rooster fight I ever saw was a "5 Cock/$100,000.00 Derby" winner take all. There is big money in raising and fighting cocks. Some local folks still hatch out, grow, and condition roosters for fighting. Many of these roosters are sent to countries in the Far East such as Thailand for huge profits.
The Enemy... is the media.
You tell me that the media isn't fanning the flames of discord in this country.
