I was not surprised to learn Elmi was part of the Tampon Tim's gang. Everyone of these people who have aided, or gained financially from this social experiment gone "horror show" and/or helped bring these military age fighting men intentionally mislabeled as refugees, along with a few women and children, into the country illegally, should be held accountable. This scam has gone from grift disguised as humanitarian aid to a black eye on our government. Maybe the caption should read, "GENERATED Hate in America". The DOJ arrested Heidi Beirich, $outhern Poverty Law Center employee on Wednesday for being "in bed" with some neo-nazi. I hope there are more arrests followed more arrests followed by lengthy jailtime and I truly hope these commies get what they've got coming to them. This is a group of leftist pot-stirrers who have sewn the seeds of dissension for far too long.

My wife comes in from taking the grands to school the other morning and informs me that I need to turn the police scanner on as fifteen law enforcement vehicles had a pick up pulled over, bed cover raised, and with multiple coolers on the ground around the truck being opened and searched. This was about two miles from where I live. There were a couple of state troopers, a couple of Dept. of Fish and Game vehicles and the rest of the LEO wagons were county and local police. A couple of days later I came across this story of the "turtle bandit". I can recall several such incidents of turtleknapping in recent years. We also see arrests of the "root diggers" (people who roam the woods digging plants such as Ginseng, Yellow Root, Star Root, etc. for profit) in our national forest.

Trying to beat the heat
I took these pictures this past week on three different trips. The falls in the videos below are in the same slough and about 75 yards apart. The day was hot, but tolerable with the water and shade. The sound of the two falls was therapeutic. The "sunset photo" was obscured by a mushroom shaped cloud after an almost completely blue sky day. The photo of that lighted cloud is from a lightning storm that popped up just before we reached home. I did manage to get the sun setting in the last photo.

Irish Gets Mooned....
Driving west around half an hour ago, I was treated to this view. Obviously it was much
better in person than with the image my iphone potatoe took. Anyway, waxing crescent moon
and Venus with the haze of the late sunset in the background.

Adder to this morning's post...
About 10 minutes after that photo, I gathered my things and headed for the trail down.
As I walked along the ridge I decided to peruse the end of the out cropping of granite that
extended past the break in the tree line for the trail.
As I walked over, I was startled when I came face to face with a smallish black bear that
was making his/her way up the far side of the of the rock.
It was probably a yearling. The size of a large dog. He/she was startled and turned tail and
ran back to the woods. I retreated back to the trail and kept an eye on my 6. Making sure
it wasn't still hanging around with Mom.
That is the first time I have come in contact with any wild life on my adventures. There are signs
of deer and moose but nothing else. Quite the interesting morning start to the day for sure.
My phone was in my pocket and the encounter lasted a few seconds so no chance to get photos to share.
I have to wonder it the bear would have walked up on me as I was sitting enjoying the morning sun.
That would have been interesting.
