  1. "Dinosaur" is on my list of Hank Jr. favorites.

    1. Dinosaur is one of mine too. I also like the early Hank stuff when he was trying to break away from only singing his daddy's songs. When I posted this, I was trying to keep up with Irish's whiskey songs. LOL
I know almost all these artist are dated, but they are classic country. I mostly listen to this type of music with some classic rock and Bluegrass thrown in. I can listen to most anything, but rap. I always liked Gary Stewart. He died much too young. I was and am a big fan of Moe Bandy and Joe Stampley, Hank Jr. (he lived in nearby Cullman in the late 70's and early 80's). Then of course there is George Jones. Back in the day I attended college in Florence at UNA. Of course there were all the studios in Muscle Shoals. We'd hear rumors that Waylon, Willie, George, etc. were in town recording and they were at the MGM club the night before, etc. I never got to meet there, but always hoped too.
