  2. That would be a Leopard.
A jaguar would have a verrry long flight to get to where there is a lion. :-)

    1. I think that's hardwired. It's like how every time I feed my 18 year old cat he approaches it cautiously like that. Gotta sniff it first make sure I'm not trying to poison him.

    2. I think he's a bit skittish.

    1. Looked like a gazelle. Leopards like to stash leftovers in trees.

    2. An antelope or gazelle. After the hunt cheetahs hang their prey on tree branches so they can eat without the hyenas showing up to spoil the picnic.

  8. The lazy fucker is looking around in amazement 'cuz there is no Lady Lion nearby who made the kill. Usually the males watch while the females do the killing then the males move in to claim first dibs on "their" meal. A lot like welfare in this country-working stiffs provide for lazy fucks (looking at 'ya son-in-law).

Looking at the dead animal on the ground I first thought it could be a skunk (not familiar with all the creatures out on the savannah)-was bracing to see el-skunko drench lazy King of the Beasts with some perfume.
