The Sky Was Burning...

During last weekend's coastal storm, We were treated to some of the most amazing sunset views

all up and down New Hampshire.  The clouds on the west side of the storm left a Northeast

to Southwest line of demarcation. West of the clouds were clear skies.

This make for some remarkable sunset pictures taken by dozens or more people who posted to

face bok.   I borrowed some to share.

There is no photo that can capture the majesty of God's handiwork. Being there in person

was awe inspiring.....

  1. Nice, probably the evening we saw a flaming sunset accented by peach clouds.

    1. I drive a truck from a semi rural base. I see many mornings like these in winter when I start in the dark and get to see the sun come up. Sadly, I think I'm the only one that notices.

  7. First two look like paintings. My last house I lived for the sunrises, sunsets and electrical storms. Our view was nearly 360 degrees unobstructed.

  9. Back when the old AFL was being formed in the mid-1960s and the Denver Broncos became a team their first color scheme was blue and gold, taken after the dazzling sunsets often seen over the mountains just to the west. Now, if only the team could learn how to win again.

  10. There's nothing more visually gratifying than God's handiwork, especially his sky paintings.

  11. Redish hue color you see is nano-lithium particulates, that was sprayed. Don't worry, lithium has a relaxing & calming effect better than flouride, that is just one thing lithium does to your head...
