Captain "Mugs" Incredible Maneuver in an F-4 Phantom

 Click the Picture....

  1. Good clip, I worked with a old time airdale who had more stories than I can remember. Most involved The Phantom, I remember him telling me that it had so many angles because its aerodynamic design was so bad that it was the only way it was able to fly, it was also said to be a more stable platform if it was able to fly at its top speed in reverse.

  2. @boilerdoc - We used to call them "flying bricks" because of their glide ratio. No doubt they were great planes in their time, but they were real pigs for us maintenance guys.
