So, I'm working on FFF since it's a rainy night here and I happen upon this image:
Damn... nagger.. that is some decent work. So, intrigued, I carry on. It seems that is a custom beer tanker built for Roy Pitz by Hauk Customs. For the record, I've never heard of roy pitz brewery or Hauk Customs. That being said. That truck is some fine ass art.
I love the movie "Duel", with Dennis Weaver. I'm thinking that rig or this one, would be fun to tour Portland in. Smoke out the windows, couple of road pops and some Black Sabbath blasting....
Sorry to be a wet blanket, but the thing looks awful to me. "Here, have a beer from this truck that looks like we pulled it out the swamp." If I drink from it will I get sick?
Lots of work there, and I admire the skill, creativity and craftsmanship to do it. But it sends the wrong message to me.
Said while sheltering at home... Coming up on 6 months, thanks to Democrats... That's a damn fine truck, skippy. Something no Democrat could afford.
ReplyDelete"HAUK" was a chain of cut-rate gas stations where I grew up. The kind of gas you'd only put in your beater!
ReplyDeleteImpressive as hell! It looks like steampunk, almost!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. But it needs a near-nekkid retro-babe serving beer from it.
