  1. I'm a firm believer in not speaking ill of the dead. All I can say is Rest In Peace. I respected her when she was alive, although I vehemently disagreed with her philosophy of judicial activism and her comments denigrating the Constitution over the years.

She didn't earn the sobriquet "The Notorious RBG" because she was a milktoast.

As if life over the past nine months or so hasn't been interesting enough, an SJC appointment now enters the fray. No doubt, Joe Biden will call for invoking the Biden rule, which he disagreed with when the opportunity presented itself in 2016. Whoda thunk. The decision to proceed will depend on how many votes The Turtle can muster before the election. Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins, according to reports, have already said they won't vote in favor of ANY nominee before the election. If he doesn't have the votes, I don't believe McConnell will proceed.

I should have invested in Orville Rickenbocker when I had the chance. The next 48 days are going to be real interesting.

    1. I did have to have a beer tonight. Not in celebration you understand ;^))

I might follow it up with a shot of Black Label. Again, NOT in celebration.

    2. You are a better man than me Nemo. May that miserable hag burn in hell. I may have to open another beer just to commemorate the occasion.

  4. It's very disrespectful of the press not to use her proper name: Ruth Baader-Meinhof.
