Alabama Governor Kay Ivey shuts down practically everything in Alabama (even the beaches on the Gulf Coast) that her office has deemed "non-essential" as have many other mayors and governors in cities and states across the nation. Do you believe such measures right or wrong?
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WBRC) - Governor Kay Ivey has issued a statewide health order that includes new drastic measures to stop the thread of the coronavirus.

It's a crock, for God's sake.
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing is ridiculous.
nailed it
DeleteAll of these overreaching shutdowns should be answered with resistance - at the very least in the form of withholding any tax payments.
ReplyDeleteWhere are all the sick people?
ReplyDeleteI didn't think we gave these folks that kind of power. I'm not for it. I believe they should ask private businesses to close.
ReplyDeleteI agree it is right for certain levels of right to try to protect people from the stupidity of others. but is it within the law? not unless the governor/mayor declares martial law.
ReplyDeleteRight and wrong. We are Americans. But what does that mean anymore? Some of us will stay at home not for ourselves but because of those we care about who are high risk. Some will say F it, I’m what matters and ain’t no one gonna tell me how to live. The right answer? Somewhere in between, as is always the answer. Nothing is black and white in the “societal scheme”! Freedom is difficult but means that you have to let others exercise their freedom as well, even if you are against it. Now, if their freedom infringes on my rights, then we have a problem as my rights will very quickly infringe on their freedom.
ReplyDeleteAbout time to tell mayors and governors to fuck off and die. Recall them and/or vote them out!
ReplyDeleteWhere are all the sick people that are causing these closures?
ReplyDeleteOf course by now you have heard that the entire state of California has been shut down....
ReplyDeleteTyranny.
ReplyDeleteY'all got legal marijuana dispensaries down there yet?
ReplyDeleteI can guarantee you they won't be closed.
Not yet. I was surprised to see the Senate just approved the use of "medical Marijuana".

ReplyDeleteThis is practice time for what will happen on November 4, 2020 regardless of who wins.
ReplyDeleteNearly all politicians want to be some nasty combination of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and all the disgusting rest.
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be a vote at the end of every politicians term as to whether he/she ought be put to death when he/she leaves office.
There'd be a lot of the fuckers deader'n hell, and properly so.
They Should Have Called It ‘CONTROL’-avirus
ReplyDeleteFormer U.S. Presidential Candidate Ron Paul really nailed it with his March 16, 2020 article entitled “The Coronavirus Hoax”:
The fucking malls in Mobile are not closed. My wife works at Dillard's & they aren't closed. If she catches that shit I'll burn that shit hole to the ground.
ReplyDelete6 foot distance isn't going to help when everyone uses the same door handles, public restrooms, handrails, and currency, for starters.
ReplyDeleteWhat bullshit.
