After years of driving form pins, I found it's best to never use a mall that has a handle longer than the length of your arm. It eliminates the extra length that can damage the cojones.
I was learning to use an ax when I was about 6 or 6, and my dad gave me a great piece of advice from his days on the railroad: keep both nuts on the same side of the track...
