EVERETT, Mass. (WHDH) -- Tanks and swat teams moved into a neighborhood trying to talk a man out of a home after he shot into an empty van.
The standoff left the neighbors and schools in the area on edge for hours after multiple shots rang out
“I heard 4 gunshots. I ducked. I didn't wants to go near the windows because didn't know which direction bullets were coming from,” a neighbor said.
The bullets struck a van that was parked on the side of Calhoun Street with no one in it.
