well, Johnnie Walker blue is crap at best. kind of like high priced paint thinner ! I couldn't believe how many people paid that much for something that tastes like shit ! there are lots of much better Scotches out there for half the money that they want for that crap. one time before Christmas I had a friend over and he was asking about Scotch whisky . like what the big deal. now, he only smelled them as he didn't want a 'taste'. I had one bottle of JW red that someone gave me years ago and it just sat there. no. I didn't drink it. after smelling a few other brands, he got to the JW. one smell of it and he called it paint thinner ! I like MaCellan myself 12 or 18 year old will work. a bottle of that will last me a year or more easy.
