Happy Friday... Alive and Kicking...

All went very well with this Morning's visit.

One small flat subcentimeter polyp and 3 diverticula.

Other than that unremarkable. Until the biopsy results which, hopefully, will be clear.

So overall, it was worth it.

Dropped 4lbs of water weight. The scale, was sub 200lbs when I got on it this morning.

It's been a loooooong time since I have been under the 200 mark.

I know, I know, it's water weight and the breakfast I had will ruin. It was fun while it

lasted and is now a goal that I can attain.

Nap time.. then taking it easy for the day.

I would also like to add that propofol* is amazing.

Best 1 hour sleep that felt like 8 hours that I have had in forever.

Be back later.....

*What it is: Propofol is a powerful, fast-acting intravenous general anesthetic and sedative normally reserved for highly monitored hospital surgeries and critical care.

Recreational Use: It is not a sleep aid and is never meant to be used in a home setting without advanced life-saving equipment (like EKG monitors and ventilators)

  2. I'm always amazed when I get a colonoscopy. Other than the cleansing part. Be laying on the gurney and the nurse will say, see you later and I'm gone. That fast. Wish that would happen in my bed.

  3. Robin Williams' talking about his heart surgery while on propofol: he referred to it as "milk of amnesia"

  4. Had a colonoscopy years ago, so know the drill. My current doctor gives me the option of the camera-up-my-a$$ every 5-10 years or sh*t-in-a-box every three years. I opt for the latter.

  6. Recently had cataract surgery. It was strange, complete blank from arriving in the operating room, till you can go home now.

  14. My first exposure to propofal was when I was being put under for electrocardioversion (Clear!) for my AFib. The anesthesiologist called it "Jackson Juice,"

  15. Nice thing about propofol/diprovan is that when they turn it off, it is completely out of your system in about 2-3 minutes.

  16. No drugs, no driver required afterwards. The less "medicine" the better. Doc had zero problem with it, prep nurse on the other hand was a complete wench. She tried several times to get me to consent to anesthesia, then came in and told me that the anesthetist was insisting on anesthesia, I told her to send them in and we'd "discuss" it. Anesthetist never showed, she was bluffing. Filed a complaint with the hospital that, of course, went nowhere.
