It's telling the cops and your insurance company how fast you're driving and if you've crossed the double yellow line. Anne Heche plowed through a concrete wall and into a house in LA in excess of 80mph. These vehicles can be remote-controlled to rocket speed no matter how hard you're pressing the brakes. An EV on fire can't be extinguished and doors typically fail to open when the system shuts down. Anne was fighting to get off the gurney as she was shoved into an ambulance so they had to finish the job in the hospital.
