  3. I've never seen a white Sunbeam griddle before.
I probably would have looked for some firewood in the trees at the edge of the lawn. But I'm just a savage, what do I know?

  4. I don't have anything that runs on propane, but I do have lots of charcoal and, as said, there's always wood!

  5. That's one reason I only use charcoal, it's always ready. I don't even have it to boil crawfish anymore, Rouses does it for me.

  6. Went up to our hunting camp one time years ago and the gas was out. Kind of sucked because we couldn't use the oven or the big cast iron restaurant griddle to cook. Found a 5 gallon pail in the shed and shot it full of ventilation holes with our .22s. Yeah, could just used a big nail to poke holes, but shooting is more fun. Went and chopped up some downed branches for fuel and used the oven rack on top. Made a pretty decent wood stove/grill. If there wouldn't have been a pail available we just would have stacked some stones.......

  9. New house, power always going out, started fire in fireplace, cooked and made coffee, some people are simply short sighted when the power fails.

    1. Ice Storm knocked power out for five days in 2005. We were like Little Outhouse on the Prairie cooking in the fireplace. Good times

  12. Some people I swear. The lady at the grocery store said another lady came in and complained about them being sold out of tea. The store lady said, we have tea bags and the customers reply was, that’s way too much trouble.

  15. Caveman steak.
Throw it directly on the coals. First time I did it I was really hesitant but it works great. Look it up on "Primal Grill" or "Good Eats" on yooooooo tube.
