One good point there....cover and disguise. Otherwise, go "lone wolf" or face-to-face. Leave the electronics at home. Stay outside their OODA loop. Otherwise, the rest stands. Oil your weapons. Load your magazines. Carry everywhere. Even if the sign on the building sez "no guns", 99% of them have no way to detect if you're carrying. (exceptions - courthouses, FedGov buildings, airports, etc - in those cases, they're on their own anyway) (snicker....I'd LOVE to see TSA take down a Flash Mob.....)
Not just at home. Have a plausible alibi... maybe you and a friend want to go fishing that afternoon, catfish are biting. If your phone pings off a tower on the other side of the lake all day long, its hard to prove that masked fellow in the sportsball team hat was you.
A Burner phone at dollar general cost 40 bucks, put a 20 dollar airtime card on it, you and your buddy have comms. Dispose of it in the AO when you're done. Did you know? Revolvers don't leave shell casings behind unless you drop them. Be a shame if someone scattered random range brass all over to make things confusing for the investigators. I mean, how could there be 380, 9mm, 10mm, .223 .22, 5.56, 7mm, 6.5, 6.8 AND 30-06 brass all at the same scene? Victims were hit by a .357?
Jeffery, I thought "they" had already taken over B'ham. We had a store there when I was working and we always made sure we were in a much nicer neighborhood before dark. Who knew that the admonishment Mom gave you as a child is still good advice today - "Be sure you are home when the streetlights come on!"
It was great advice when we were little boys, but now the best advice for anyone is to avoid Birmingham and all other liberal hives unless visiting them is absolutely necessary. Since 1982 Birmingham has been deteriorating into the crime ridden third world hell hole it has become (at least parts of it). If it is necessary to make a trip into the hives, keen situational awareness and being armed are requirements . I have my doubts about this thing actually taking place, but there is potential so, be sure to get out before the streetlights come on for sure too. reggins control almost every major city in America and they are all dumps that third world country don't want. before "equality" they were all ran by whites, were clean, prosperous, and for the most part safe. there was a reason the South had segregation and it wasn't because of racism. it's hard to live safely around animals. forced integration is worse than forced segregation. America will continue it's slow decline into oblivion.
Anon - that is also true just about everywhere in the Caribbean where the British use to rule, but left. I learned that when my wife and I cruised it for a while on a sailboat (used cat) when we retired. We ended up choosing the mountains of SW Montana for their lack of diversity.
