The Kid's Been Paying Attention....

Speaking of the Ohio River Valley:

1.2 Ohio River Basin Overview
The Ohio River Basin covers 204,000 square miles encompassing parts of 15 states. It is home to
over 25 million people equaling 10% of the population of the United States. The Ohio River
alone is 981 miles long and runs from the confluence of the Allegheny and the Monongahela
Rivers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and ends in Cairo, Illinois. Along the way the Ohio River
provides drinking water to several million people (Ohio River Foundation, 2020) (Figure 1).
Other systems in the Ohio River Basin include the Cumberland River which is 688 miles long,
draining about 18,000 square miles of Kentucky and Tennessee before joining the Ohio River.
The Tennessee River is 652 miles long from its confluence with the Holston River, flowing from
Virginia and North Carolina, and the French Broad River flowing from North Carolina. Other
major systems include the Kentucky, the Allegheny, the Wabash and the Miami Rivers, to name
a few. The Tennessee is the largest tributary of the Ohio River. The Ohio River and its tributaries
run through diverse landscapes including forests, agricultural, and urban lands and are home to
164 species of fish and over 100 species of mussels, including a number of threatened and
endangered species.

  1. As I said last week, the "Chinese weather balloon " was being used to map jet stream air currents . I suspected a release of a biological agent, but a chemical one would suffice.
Long term effect could be pretty devastating for all people, livestock and food crops all across the southeast.
They will not allow 2024 to happen.
I pray I'm wrong , but so far it's not looking good. Be safe my friends.

  3. Some call that Netflix movie "White Noise" about a chemical train wreck was the powers that be bragging.

Maybe that movie "Day of the Dragon" is the same?

  5. Last night Tucker did a piece on the spill in East Palestine showing J.D. Vance walking up to a small stream showing clear water 4-6" deep. He stuck a stick in the water and stirred it around a little. An oil like sheen came to the surface immediately and floated away in the slight current. Now imagine what's in the soil of some poor SOB's land that gets in their drinking water from a well on that property, not to mention all of the municipal water supplies that extract their water from all of the major rivers mentioned in this article. You probably can't even shower or bathe in that water.

When East Palestine held their town meeting two nights ago that was supposed to be attended by reps from Norfolk Southern(NS), the company canceled at the last minute.

Reason stated: NS representatives were "afraid for their safety".

  7. Where is Greenpeace, The Sierra Club, the Kennedy founded and funded Riverkeepers, Water.org, and the other environmental loons' responsible for numerous bullshit regulations, incurred costs, loss of jobs, etc.????? Oh, I forgot. They only protest/lobby against or for issues that benefits them and their commie masters and are not really concerned about the environment or the people who live in affected area.

  8. When I first came to Ohio for work, 1981, my buddy Danny and I were avid fishermen.

We traveled the country for work and fished everywhere we went. Danny was a much more serious fisherman than I was.

We were in Peninsula Ohio doing this tiny little bridge with a tiny creek under it.

Foggy every morning so we had to wait to start. After a few days the boss asked why we weren't fishing anymore.

Told him losing lures was getting to expensive. He asked if it was snags?

Nope, it was catching fish with huge sores on them and neither of us would touch them, we would just cut the line and tie on another jig.

I married and stayed here and have seen the waterways really get cleaned up since then.

We just went back to 1981
