Baldwin County Alabama sheriff issues warning after 110 lbs. of Cocaine washes up on the beach
Years ago there was on an old boy that ran an excavator for us. He was a great operator who and could be a very funny guy at times. One day he and I were talking about some of our exploits from the 80s, old times, etc, and he was explaining the "drug phase" of his life which turned out to be pretty comical. He went on to explain that he never had any problem with drugs and had been only a casual user, etc. However, there was BUT in there. He went on to say had never used a lot of drugs and had tried cocaine a few times during that period of his life and liked it, but really didn't think the drug was worth the money, etc.. He said it'd been years since he'd touched the stuff, "but I can tell you one thing" he went on to say, "if there was an eight ball laying on the dash of this machine right now, I'd be hunting me a damn straw!" I'm sure he'd have some funny comments about this story. I can just hear him saying, "call the law, hell!".
Why does this shit never happen to me?
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in high school in the 70's a bale of Mexican Red washed up on the Georgia coastline. I would make the gonzo large Cheech and Chong joint for parties and concerts. It took about 5 months for me and my buddies to go through it. It did have a lot of stems and seeds.
ReplyDeleteThey used to call those bales of drugs "Florida grouper" or something like that back during the height of the Miami cocaine trade back in the 70-80's.
