With The Windows Open.....

"If that guitar was a woman, it wouldn't be able to walk for a week."- Justin Bradford

Name The First Song....

.. that comes to mind if someone asked. "What song can you listen to multiple times in a row?"

Your driving along, the sun is out and windows down, suddenly a song comes on that you haven't heard in a while. That kinda song that makes your right foot press a little a harder and your hand reaches for the volume. You sing along, out loud, and keep pushing replay.

Fahtin' Around On The Webz This Morning....

I'm sitting here deciding what to I do for the day. I have some chores and maybe another hike sounds good as the weather is going to be nice, spring like, for the weekend.

Scrolling through the blogs and news I figured that just for........

I would run TFI through the Alexa Ranking site to see where it stands. I haven't done it in years as I don't use the data for anything other than curiosity , which could harm a cat.

 The results surprised me:

So, many thanks as always for stopping by, emailing, commenting and hopefully laughing out loud in your jammies at the shit that gets posted here. For those that always come back to see "what the fuck is he up to now" I do appreciate it.

The sun in lighting the sky and I can hear the neighbors cock rooster greeting day.

Stay safe out there and enjoy what you can.

and if the "Boss" will let ya, try playing this at home during quarantine:

Today's Hike.. Boulders In The Woods...

This one is over 7-8 feet tall. You can see the chunk that split off laying sideways in front of it.

This boulder is over 6 feet tall

Large boulder hidden behind the small tree on the left. It's about 5 feet tall. Lots of others along the trail

Rock out cropping which is all split up from freeze thaw cycles

Old field stone rock wall.

Glacial Erratic In New Hampshire <<<

Check out the Madison Boulder <<<

Madison Boulder is thought to be the largest glacial erratic - an erratic being a boulder of a certain type of rock that was transported by glacial ice and deposited on bedrock of different type of rock - in North America.
At 23 feet high, 37 feet front-to-back, and 85 feet left-to-right Madison Boulder is estimated to weigh almost 12 million pounds, roughly the weight of 36 blue whales. It was once part of a ledge of Conway Granite and was transported about two miles south to its current location where it now sits on a deposit of Concord Granite.

Here you can see how, thousands of years ago, the glaciers performed their handiwork.

That boulder above is in FINLAND<<

Yesterday's Zen Moment...

I got a chance to spend some time in the woods yesterday. This is a nice place to stop and be "In the moment".

There appears to be a lot of glacial erratic left behind out on the trails. I'll get some more pictures later. It's peaceful here, listening to the water run over and through all this exposed rubble.
