Yesterday's Zen Moment...

I got a chance to spend some time in the woods yesterday. This is a nice place to stop and be "In the moment".

There appears to be a lot of glacial erratic left behind out on the trails. I'll get some more pictures later. It's peaceful here, listening to the water run over and through all this exposed rubble.

  1. Looks like a prime spot for brookies. Care to identify where this is? Up in the N.E. Kingdom there are some erratics big as houses and a whole bunch SUV sized. The locals use 'em for deer stands, at least the ones that are climbable.

    1. Nemo, I'm in SE NH. No brookies here. Sometime, during summer it will almost dry up. We've had rain off and all for the Spring so far.

  2. Irish the article rating, i.e. Like, What the Hell, More Please and Funny doesn't seem to be working, at least through my browser, Firefox V75.0. I believe it was working through yesterday.

    1. I had the same issue. If I remember correctly it has to do with firefox privacy and tracking settings.
Also, I do believe the ratings are being manipulated. I can screen shot them one day and later on they are lower or gone.

  3. Very nice, we have a little brook that runs year round by my street. I get to enjoy it while walking the dog. We startled a nice red fox this morning and sent him running.

  4. Just got back from a swamp crawl watching & counting Wood Ducks now that the babies are out of the nest boxes. Now the kids want to go look for Box Turtles.

  5. Be here, NOW. Or if not, later works too. Noone is a guide to here-now. You are noone when you get there.

  6. Nothing like the solitude of the woods with a stream gurgling. Wish I could do it more.

  7. Nice Rocks, Irish. We have some big ole Rocks in Northern Arizona, and Southern Utah too. Tried to send you some pics, but not allowed evidently. No worries. Thank you for sharing.
