Hell yes. I do have to say, out of all of the versions out there, the one off of The Delicate Sound Of Thunder will always be my favorite. It's cleaner and has more soul to me. https://youtu.be/4mQbe_DZKNs
A few years back I saw Brit Floyd and they did the encore of Comfortably Numb. The quitarist played the live version of the solo and brought the house down.
I saw them too, even got an autographed T shirt. I have seen Aussie Floyd also. They were really good. The tickets were quite reasonable for both shows and the light show alone was worth the price of admission.
Birdchaser, I agree with you about Roger Waters. I was weened on Pink Floyd in the early 70s and can enjoy their music. Definitely the David Gilmour years. I had a chance to see The Wall tour that Waters did when it was at Fenway. I said no. Most of the musicians and actors that interject their politics are on my personal ban list.

Nothing beats seeing it live, with the giant mirror ball.
ReplyDeleteYou can have Roger Waters & pink floyd . That piece of shit can kiss my ass.

DeleteAgree that DSoT version is better, more passion and edgier. Also check out Dave's 1985 show for a great version as well.
