Stocks in the public square. Not as "gentile" as you might think. IIRC, the stocks were placed as neck/shoulder height so that the person had to stand upright the entire time they were there. If the person relaxed/bent their knees/sagged, they choked. Now, imagine being in a stocks for several days/a week. Almost a death sentence.

Charge them as adults, treat them as adults. Or... if they are truly 'children' then charge their parents as accessories. And since Louisiana has the Felony Murder law, that makes the parents subject to some serious prison time.
This is the only way to stop 'juvenile' crime. Either treat the juveniles as adults for adult crimes, or treat the juveniles as children under the control of adults and charge the adults.
It does not take a village to raise a child. It takes a village and nobody taking responsibility to copulate-up children to the point that being 15 years old makes you a murderer. Just one parent per child taking responsibility and making sure the child was raised right would have stopped this.
Furthermore.... Find all responsible for these creatures bad life-choices and toss charges at them also. School guidance counselors, politicians writing lax laws, prosecutors refusing to charge for previous crimes, rap artistes who glorify this garbage...
C'mon guys. Don't y'all know they were good kids, on their way to Sunday school? They were turning their lives around and to prosecute them right now would be racist!!
Be careful out there. The impulsive young thugs will not know or care about the damage they do. Don't provide temptation by lingering at the "threshold". Have your keys ready. Adjust and fiddle after you have secured the door. Have a "Plan B". Stay alert and look alert. "Sudden" is a common ploy. Distraction is an invitation. Deterrence is cheaper and safer than last ditch defense. Etc.
Punishment should fit the crime... in this instance, tie their wrists together and drag them behind a car for ten miles at sixty miles an hour (get-away speed).
We have a serious BLACK problem in this country. Lazy, Stupid, Violent blacks are destroying our cities nationwide. I have never met a black person I could trust or like. (even in the USMC) Period. Call me a "racist" all you want, but they murdered my brother for his car in 1973 and things have only gotten worse.
