  1. I'll watch it occasionally. Telly and Rickles were great. The guy that played the Nazi tank commander was perfect and Donald Sutherland was a hoot. Good movie.

  3. Think of all the great Donald Sutherland movies all the way up to Animal House and not very famous but a hell of a body of work. Mash movie as well.

  8. Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas, and Don Rickles all in the same movie...?
    Damn.
There isn't that much talent in all of Hollyweird any more.

    1. You forgot Donald Sutherland, who played a superlative "Oddball". The gunslinger scene where they approach the German tank reminiscent of Eastwood's spaghetti westerns--still makes me chuckle.
