Further, without that regulation in place, there was not exemption for congress nor postal workers or anyone else. There is no mandate beyond fed contractors and fed employees. This is being done through OSHA. OSHA is an executive branch agency. It cannot, constitutionally, be applied to the legislative or judicial branches.

So what happens when Gov DeSantis instructs Florida OSHA not to enforce the regulation (not law) Can Federal OSHA enforce it directly? Do tthey have to go to court to get Florida OSHA to enforce it? How long can Desantis keep it tied up there?

DoD contractor here. Not the job I wanted but the job I have. Me and one other guy in the small company we work for have refused. In my case I've refused to even fill out and submit the form. Even checking the "Do not consent" box and submitting gives them tacit authority to do whatever they want in the future. So I'm telling them "You have no right to mandate anything". If it comes to it, I'll demand documentation from the government for breach of contract.
