  2. In Oregon, we have two seasons: Fire season and Mud season. From June to October, it doesn't rain at all and everything turns brown. From November to May, it rains more often than not, everything turns as green as Ireland, and every burbling stream turns into an impassible torrent.

    I look at it this way: half of the year, you don't need to worry about rain ruining your plans. The other half of the year, you assume it will rain and are thankful if it doesn't.

    1. Depends on where you are in Oregon. And, it depends on what the weather is doing. Here on the central coast, I've seen a wide spectrum of seasonal changes in the last 30 years. This year is looking like it was in 1986. Producing bass fry, organically, in the Willamette valley, when it's cold, was hard. I did it anyway. 60K put out to reservoirs and ponds that year.
