One of the things that has struck me forcefully is the parallel between the "shadow government" of Hillary/Barrack/Comey/Lynch/et al and the "shadow CIA" portrayed in the 1975 flick, Three Days of the Condor.

None of the "talking heads" has brought it up but I find the parallels fascinating.

Here is the scene that kinda, sorta sums it up - unfortunately, The Grey Lady (The NYT), kind of appears to be the hero at the end.  We know that wouldn't happen today!
