It's an interesting question. We all assume Putin has established dominance via our own president's submissive nature... what would he do if he met someone holding both power AND moral authority, as well as an interest in using it?
Putin did meet Reagan once. He was a young KGB agent when Reagan was overseas. Putin portrayed a regular citizen and was done to prove to themselves they could get one of their agents close to a US President. I saw a picture of the event published some years ago.
