I can't find any railroad spikes any more. You used to be able to find them almost anywhere in the flea markets and such. Now? Nope nuttin doing. I used to have 2 spike bolas I guess you could call them where it was a spike that was elongated to a point with a hole through the head. A piece of 550 cord was tied through the hole and it was thrown like a bolas. I was pretty good with it too. When I moved to TX they and a bunch of other cool stuff of mine disappeared.
That looks like a really nice way to spend a cool day. Which is at least 5 months away. Definitely want to try that...
