I've thought several times about writing a short story in which the protagonist, a slow-minded Forrest Gump type, walks around his community singing Liz Phair's H.W.C. to himself.
Not bad, but I couldn't get it to stay put in my mind as I listened - kept shifting back to an unwanted worm, "Black Hole Sun" which was the most weird video I'd ever seen ( up until I encountered Aphex Twin!! Ever see 'Come to Daddy'???)
