Hi Irish!!!, Oh that's "Good One!!" 'Just thinkin'... I grew up in the "SOUTH!!"... S/E Louisiana to be exact... in the late 1940's ..on.... and I have to say that Bacon, Ham and or Both along with Chicken Eggs... also called "Cackle Berries" were a staple of my younger daze!!! I can still remember the smell of all that cooking... and ya' gota throw in Grits!! Eggs fried with their eyes open or scrambled with bits of ham and bacon thrown in..... Also down here in the "BOOT!!" when the "Okra" would sprout and grow.. along with the ham and bacon in the scrambled eggs... toss in some cut up okra!!! Talk bout a "Stick to yer' ribs Breakfast!!!!!! And!!!!!!!!,,, Don't ferget'''''' the Biscuits!!!!!!!!!!!! with lots of fresh "BUTTER!!!!" Audentes, Fortuna, Iuvat!!!!, III%, skybill
