  1. Old news. This scam happened in Spain decades ago. When the subsidies pay enough for "Green Power" then it's worth it to generate power from a Green Site even when the Sun ain't shining or the wind blowing.

  2. Drove by a windmill farm the other day. There were a few that were idle because they had broken blades. However, what struck me as odd was that I was unable to find any large power lines to carry the generated electric away from the windmills, at least not like you see leaving coal, natural gas, or nuclear power plants. The only power lines I saw were equivalent to those you see servicing a residential neighborhood.

    1. Ours are buried to prevent farmers hitting them. Eventually you'll switvh to above ground at the transformer station.

  3. the whole thing is a scam. windmills will NEVER pay for themselves. and just how much Oil is used in each one ?
the big problem is they have the kids brainwashed into believing this shit ! there is place where this crap is useful
but not as a main source of power. every time I drive into town and see the damn things on the hilltops I just wonder
just how much money did they spend on this shit anyway ?
I live in a area that gets OVER 100 inches of rainfall a year on a average. building more hydro makes more sense
to me instead of fucking windmills. dave in pa,

  4. Ahhh, wind power. Synchronous speed is 1800 and 3600 rpm, so when first started, from a diesel engine, these units need to run for 8 hours to get the wind driven generator up to synchronous speed. Then they have to run for quite some time to generate that power back. So,basically, if they dont keep running, they are not producing anything. Follow the money!

  5. All of the turbines here in colorado are required to have engine generator back up in case the grid goes down. If they didn't have generator back up they'd lose control of them in a emergency. Even when the turbines are shut down they have to slowly continue to rotate to prevent damage in gear case from a stationary situation banging the gear teeth. At least that's what I was told when I got to get a tour inside of one. Also 7 years ago a single turbine cost close to 10 million$. Big waste and everyone in business knows it.

  6. But, but John Kohn, oops, I mean John Kerry says it’s good for us. Right?

  7. 335 tons of steel
    4.7 tons of copper
    1200 tons of concrete
    2 tons of aluminum
2 tons of rare earth elements
    Plus, aluminum, zinc and molybdenum

    One 3-MW Wind Turbine

  8. That story sounds like a CIA psyop that they would have reported to sit back and laugh at people going hysterical

  9. How precious.

    An aside:
    * Is it possible everything is a fraud?
Every word from every government agent, every photograph manipulated, every dog wagged by its tail?

    1. Q: What's the difference between a conspiracy theory and the truth?

      A: About 6 months.

We'll know the answer to your question in about 6 months Marge. And won't THAT ONE be an eyeopener!

  10. About fifteen or so years five of these turbines were built on the other side of the mountain about a mile from camp. In all the time since, I've rarely seen those things actually turning. The first five years, I never saw them turning. Granted, I'm there maybe ten to fifteen days a year, so it's possible that they're turning when I'm not there. There are three other sites visible from camp on the tops of other mountains. The turbines on these sites are rarely turning also.

  11. I have never seen this addressed: If all the turbines around the world pointed the same direction wouldn't that change the earth's rotational speed? Or slow it down? Depending on direction, of course. I think I have just seen the real globalist plan: wind turbines as time machines!

    1. If you build too many of them on Guam,
it might capsize. Just ask Sen. Hank Johnson about that.

  12. Large scale wind has never made a lick of sense, the math just does not work. I was involved in the erection of a unit in central Vermont and the generator they installed never had a prayer of producing the energy required for the just steel used in the concrete base, never mind the rare earth magnets they claimed were the real super-duper innovation. It was a joke, they're ALL jokes. I was ashamed to be there.

  13. Denying cheap energy to the world will end in the intentional murder and starvation of many millions across the world but the cult of climastrology will feel better. This reality denying insanity has ruined global trade of oil between nations to the point other countries are abandoning the dollar and started a war.
