He had the tag. It was stupid to continue the chase. The cops could pick up the biker at a later time without all of the risk of a high speed chace through the city.
How do you know the perp wasn’t fleeing a murder/attempted murder? Here in the US, by breaking pursuits, encourages them to flee. Sounds good on paper, until every thug runs, thinking they’re break pursuit. Then crashes and kills one of yours. Think it through. Not just emote!
there is a bone doc at HUP. the 4 wall of the waiting room are lined with bike helmets. or where about 20 years ago that kid need to take up racing. he could make a fair bit on money before he pans out.
I'd be beating the schit out of kid & girl. No police brutally in that country, I bet!!! No fault on cop for the chase, shouldn't be riding in city/town like an a$$. Fafo!!! Stupid players collect stupid prizes.
Jesus H. Christ! I've seen some shit but that is on a level I wouldn't have believed if I hadn't just seen it. Just imagine what that little bastard could do without a chick behind him and speaking of chicks, she is on Champion level herself!
Ala Rodney King, how could you NOT want to take your club and beat the living shit out of that guy at the conclusion of the chase? But indeed, the danger the chase put everyone ELSE in was clearly unacceptable.
Not after that pucker-pinching ride! He’ll need a slide hammer to pass one! (Of course, the guys in the cell block rain room may be of some assistance….)
Just for fun, I will watch youtube videos of car wrecks or stupid drivers, just missing wrecks. This video makes all of those look like nothing. Although in some spots it does look sped up, the thing still scared me a few times. If it was full speed, then it was pretty irresponsible of both drivers. Not only for those involved, but for the pedestrians as well. Going that fast, the bikes likely would have been an explosion of parts, going anywhere from 50-100 mph, and striking the crowd everywhere, a foot peg to the forehead could conceivably kill someone. Not to mention a nut or bolt at 100mph might go through and through your center mass, much like a bullet. It was exciting to watch though, wasn't it?
He's a good rider in that environment and he's probably had that bike as his only transport for 8 or 9 years, so it's like being on a pair of roller skates for him. The bikes a small one so it wouldn't take much to push it around and it'd be really agile. There was really no room to pass so the cop had to follow at a disadvantage and those cameras distort speed and distance so things look more risky than they are. That said it, he had some good skills to fit the bike where he did but any good trail rider could give him a run for his money. As far as racing, I bet the dude would flame out quick, pushing on a 190 hp GSX-R on it's edge is a lot different than urban trail riding on an 125 or 250 mass market moped. The chick could hang though.
I'm glad it ended with a wipe out

ReplyDeleteUnless the motorcycle was stolen.
DeleteDifferent country. Not pussys like the u.s. Nail the asswipe.
DeleteIn South America? I have my doubts...

Was the cops daughter on the back of the bike n he no like her dating that kid. Only reason he chasing him. :)
DeleteAbsolutely…considering the guy being chased is riding two up. Great bit of film.
ReplyDeleteKlaus
That's just plain suicidal. The helmets won't save your life. All they would do is make identification often bodies easier.
ReplyDeleteOpen casket or closed...
DeletePracticing for Isle of Man South American style on 125cc hauling ass.
ReplyDeleteThat’s exactly what I was thinking.

No one in this film has any interest in living forever.
ReplyDelete3 of the luckiest people on the planet.

ReplyDeleteDoing that with a girl screaming in your ear adds to the difficulty.
ReplyDeleteOnce that dude gets out of jail he should get a job as a stunt rider in Hollywood. The Cop, too. (Not that he's going to jail)
ReplyDeleteJesus H. Christ!

Could not have pulled that off with a bad passenger. That chic is good too. Both are stoopid

ReplyDeleteThat’s easily one of the best chase clips I’ve ever seen. I was getting nauseous towards the end. Good find Red..
ReplyDeleteSo *where* was this?
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, that was better than any AMA event I've watched. nick
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised the chick wasn't screaming her lungs out. She's been here before?
ReplyDeleteThey were BOTH crazy.
He REALLY needed to poop!

i now know where the next isle of man tt race will be held.
ReplyDeleteWith that much skill, I was pulling for the biker.
ReplyDeleteI guess it’s the sound of wind in the microphone, but this video even sounds like a roller coaster.
ReplyDeleteVery surprised no brown stain showed up on the chick.
ReplyDeleteBS
ReplyDeleteNot so, glasshoppah - that's the real deal. Which makes it even MORE awesomely scary!!
DeleteBoth are great riders, but the pair are even more Luckey than good. Diving into turns with no oncoming traffic. Lucky!
ReplyDeleteThe video is sped up. Kinda ruins it.
ReplyDeletethe cop took his chances. the other guy took her chances. if he killed her he would wake up every day of his life knowing what a jerk he was.
ReplyDeleteThe way for the girl to duck some charges is to begin attacking the rider right about where the video cuts off...
