I saw this over at It Ain't Holy Water and thought it was a very "telling" video. How a government allows the unborn to be treated speaks volumes about how it also views and treats it's citizenry.
This is the kind of thing that happens in socialist/communists countries and and also increasingly in countries such as the USA WHERE THE Gov't provides for your health care. They operate on a cost/benefit basis in which the paying entity decides the value of the child. In a true capitalist/natural society parents of the child themselves would be able to make that decision based on their own resources and on the charities and entities they could count on to allow them to produce and nurture a malformed baby. I know I seem cruel, but this is the natural state of life. If you choose to keep a baby that is only capable of life thru extroidinary costs and constant care, then you yourself should expect to shoulder those costs. Certainly insurance and charity can share those costs, but don't believe for a minute it is ok to demand the Gov't steals money from me to shoulder those costs.
