What? No comments? Perhaps, everyone is too busy grooving to type. Or, maybe they're lost in memories. One of my all-time favorites. Allow me to be profound: They don't make 'em like that anymore. Classic.
Kinda funny - back in the day I couldn't stand this sort of music. My turntable always had Lynyrd Skynyrd, James Gang, Allman Brothers, etc. Listening to it now it sounds pretty good. Many Thanks.
Nice sound. Reminds me of a magic Rose Royce concert in London I attended back about 1980. Notice there's no apparent DEI - just quality that gets along.

ReplyDeleteI was lucky to grow up in the 60's and early 70's. Soul and R&B from that era is wonderful. The stuff they make today is shite.
ReplyDeleteOh man , so many memories with that song . Really takes me back to better times.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in those years. Glad of it. I loved soul music.
ReplyDeleteMy ipod has more R&B / Soul music than anything else. Makes the work out go quicker.
