If you REALLY want to ruffle feathers, try looking on Youtube for "The Black and White Minstrel Show" - a British TV series broadcast from 1958 to 1978. I'd call it good old fashioned family entertainment but there y'go. Some are complete episodes, some just dance and song numbers but worth a look just for the novelty value.
