Germany agrees to allow Poland to send tanks to Ukraine

Not really sending Tiger I's of course, but the Poles will be sending the "new and improved model", the Leopard II's.

I would think this is more symbolic than strategic at this point as the Poles are only sending two of the machines for now. To read more, click HERE.

Poor Poland the double rump vassal.
Is that why they want to throw Brandon under the bus, no destructive burn it all down policies during WWIII?
The woke youth are looking forward to the draft. (not really)
The Tigers and Panthers were not ready for Kursk even after all the delays and the Elefant was just too big with attacking infantry the main weakness.

  3. Yeah we'll see. The Tiger FWIW, was rushed in to production and combat before it was ready. It was overly heavy, which meant there were a limited number of bridges that could support its weight, prone to breakdowns and difficult to service in the feild. wonder if the Germans have leaned from that with their modern tanks?

  5. 2 of them will be sent and with a week one will be broken down, and the other will be on the way to an arms bazaar in the middle east somewhere with the final destination of China. No I'm not a cynic at all....

  6. Can't send Abrams to Ukraine because they use JP-6(?) for fuel instead of common ol' diesel.
It'll be interesting to see how soon they either get destroyed or put on the arms black market!

    1. The turbine on the M1 burns ANYTHING. It burns best on kerosene sure but it will burn absolutely any kind of liquid fuel. I know I was an M1 treadhead back in the 802 when we first made them.

  8. I am wondering if TPTB are worried their big, expensive, overly complicated and over sold tanks might not be as good as advertised. Hell, only one way to find out. Just toss them in the fray and see if they last.

  10. Two tanks ... Poland has 250 Leopards. Before the proposal to send these tanks to Ukraine was announced in the public space, their crews had already been trained on training grounds in Poland. We will send them at the beginning of the 14th. In fact we will send all 250 tanks because Germany is a disloyal ally - in fact they are an ally of Russia.

  12. Want some pictures what happens when Leopards meet up with modern anti-tank top attack missiles?

    Maybe from attack choppers?

Want to see a train load of tanks burning?

Wait a few days until the Poles do their American Masters bidding.

No wonder Poland has been the welcome mat for so many armies over the centuries.

    1. Perhaps you're unaware that Poland is buying a lot of the latest M1A2 Abrams and even more South Korean K2 Black Panthers? Poland isn't doing shit to weaken itself. Just the opposite, in fact. Just how many modern top-attack ATGMs Russia has left? Why do you think they're using lots of dumb munitions now? They are having great difficulty producing any precision guided munitions because of embargoes. They can't make the chips themselves. Red China can't, either.
