    Before you go lamenting The Good Ol' Days with that menu....try converting those prices (no doubt prior to 1964) into current ones using this:

      You don't actually understand inflation, do you. Without inflation, I'd still be paying $0.55 for a hamburger platter. I haven't been to a McD's in almost 10 years, but I can tell you that what used to be a $20 meal for two at the local tex-mex restaurant, ten years ago, is now a $45 meal for two.
