So true, Mr. Pissed. I printed out voter registration forms and gave them out to everyone I met. It's not much, I can't afford to donate, but every little bit helps...
What a joke. Sorry, I don't think Obamney is gonna "save" anything. Neither will swapping out shysters in CONgress. You know, the "tea party" newbies were SO successful in stopping the NDAA, Obammycare, etc... No, I will not vote, because I refuse to grant legitimacy to the criminal enterprise known as the US government by participating in a sham (s)election. Furthermore, the same applies to state and local (s)elections. Voting for the lesser of two evils is not the solution. It is part of the problem. Think about it...
Sometimes we have to vote for the lesser of the evils. It will be the start of getting rid of the bad ones, one by one. Doesn't matter what party, we have to choose the best. We let them get control by not watching. It's going to take a long time to undo what we let happen, but we must start now. There are always going to be crooked politicians, we just have to make sure they don't get into office. It's up to us, the people, to change Washington. We can't let others decide for us while we still have a chance. Just the opinion of an old lady...
How sad that you feel this way. Yes, the system is somewhat broken and compromised but by YOU not voting you are voting for Obama, period. The other comments here are accurate and well stated.
I am very conservative and have been since 1979. I make NO apologies for who I am, what I stand for and what and whom I stand against. There has been and always will corruption on some level and your answer to sit out and not vote just feeds the corruption even more by doing nothing.
I personally do NOT CARE who you would vote for but choosing not to vote is irresponsible and totally against what the Founding Fathers set up through our Constitution. I prefer to try and part of CHANGE and I do not mean Obama's dope and change.
Craig, will all due respect , I agree with Phyllis. We need to make some changes, other than a revolution we NEED to vote. Romney isn't the best or the answer but Obama has got to go to stop the progressive agenda. We need to start at the local and state level and elect people that will do what they are supposed to and represent their constituents. Look at MA.. Scott Brown took Kennedy's seat back for the people. IS he the best, NO! but it's a start. I don't always agree with him but we need to keep Lizzie Warren out of the senate. There has to be some balance and some give and take due to the demographics of the country. I'm sure most people that bust there ass everyday are in the middle of things as far as politics. They either lean left or right so there needs to be some form of compromise. The radical left AND radical right need to be marginalized. Sadly that is not what has happened.
