Family issues are the toughest, because they hit so close to home. We can only imagine the array of issues, and the resulting hurt.
The most important tool you have is communication. Use it gently but honestly. There are times when you need to leave things be, as it were, and others where you just need to put it out there. Only your hearts can truly guide you.
I hesitate to share anything more personal because I don't want to influence the outcome. Let me just say that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and that I wish only the best for you. Be well.
May God lift you up in His shining light and touch the hearts and minds of those who need it and bless them all the days of their lives this day. Thanks for letting us know Irish. God speed to all of us.
Thanks Irish. My prayers go out to Leigh and his family. I am waiting to hear results of angiogram after brother's heart attack yesterday and mother's condition has been slightly upgraded. They are trying to get her strong enough to survive a multi state trip home so we can deal with it here.
Thoughts and prayers with both of you. It is nice to say that in this forum and know that I don't have the left mocking me for saying "thoughts and prayers". Something most of us have learned along the way; no matter how rich or poor we are, we are all going to have family issues and crosses to bear in this life. I sincerely hope that both of you have successful outcomes. Take care.
if there's anything we can do to help, just let us know
ReplyDeleteUnsure what is going on but Phil and Leigh, for what it is worth, you are in my prayers.
