True story - for two + years after my late father-in-law passed away, his name was still being included on the registry printouts and he was still being marked as having voted. My brother in law would go to vote and see that his father's name had a checkmark next to it in the column which indicated that he had been given a ballot that day. Brother in law raised hell with the officials, they said it was just a simple mistake, someone had put the checkmark in the wrong place, etc. But it happened at two more elections, one local and one state, besides the original national election. Want to guess what party he voted for, from beyond the grave? Democrats are lying cheating bastards. Repubicans ain't much better.
That is so true that I cannot find as much humor in that statement as I should.
ReplyDeleteHeh!:)
