  1. It's stunning to watch a pro who knows how to use a machine the way it was designed to be used.

  4. I hung out down at the Hoonigan shop in Long Beach when I lived there. They were always having meets there that a bunch of my Toyota buddies went to, so I followed along.

Got to meet some pretty cool people.

  5. Ken retired all the ford's, he's a free agent now. I think he said no more new mustang movies. I missed him when he did a warm up at I-25 speedway before the Pikes Peak climb. I got to go to that race track and what he did there didn't seem possible. Wished I saved his I25 video, because I haven't been able to find it since then. Wow does he make it look easy.

  6. I seen a video a few weeks ago where they had that thing cooked up to 1400 horsepower. That is a bitchin ride.

  7. He has seriously reinforced the frame to handle the power. Nice driving.

I had a 66 coupe that I dropped a supercharged 302 into with a 4-speed and 3:25 locker rear back in the early 80's. The mechanic that help me put it together guessed it had about 500 HP. It was only good in a strait line as it handled like a truck. It lasted about a year until the frame/body cracked. My lead foot caused that engine to basically twist the car back and forth until it broke. I parted it out and it only cost me about $3500 to drive it for a year.

    1. Back in '71 we had some dumbass put/shoehorned a built 427 in a Vega. Obviously more money than brains. We told him to put a frame underneath it, but nooooooooooo.

After his third run down the strip his doors wouldn't shut. I patiently explained to him the door hinges were precision welded into place by Unimate robots...

      Dmbass.

  10. Courtesy of Covid-19 ... you'd never get the streets of LA that clear without a pandemic. Police escort or not.

  11. Oh BTW, this is proof that you can create all the air pollution you want, if you just pay off enough California liberals. That had to be one helluva permit, equivalent to a movie shoot.

  14. 4:02-looks like a little bit of rebar sticking up. That would change things.
