"Tread" I watched this documentary last night.

It's not to often I hit the couch and turn on the TV. I have no interest in the shit they broadcast nowadays. The shows are awful, the news sucks and the commercials are intolerable. Last night I was beat from a long week so I figured I would see what was on for a movie. It's not easy an easy choice since most of the actors are assholes and I won't watch them. Hollywood sucks so they don't get my money too often and of course Netflix joined with the former president and his wookie. There ain't many choices so I acquiesced and started scrolling through the Netflix movie listings. Most of them I pass by as I read the description or see who's in it.

At first it looked like remake of "Killdozer" until I read the description.

"This documentary reconstructs the pivotal moments that drove a man on a rampage to destroy a small town with a bulldozer he fortified in secret."

This caught my eye. I remember watching this play out on the news back in 2004 and it's a documentary. The movie kept my attention the whole time and seemed to give an unbiased opinion either way as to the five W's.  If you're inclined I would recommend watching it.

Here's the trailer:

One thing of note. At the end there is a statement regarding the fact that this was national news, that most of us remember until the next day when Ronald Reagan passed away and news changed course.

  1. Yeah, As I recall the guy got screwed by the city council and it just ate him up. Pity they had to kill him to get him to stop. One stick of dynamite in the tread would've stopped him. Can't drive far in circles.

Another way I was taught was to stick a short chunk of railroad rail (about 1-2 feet) in the drive sprocket and the tread will tear apart, eventually. Won't happen instantly from what I was taught. Works on tanks as well.
