Police Raid 90-Year Old Woman’s Home Apparently By Accident
"Riviera Beach Police said the search warrant was executed at the correct address and while the resident may not have had any knowledge of drugs being sold from her home, it doesn't mean it didn't happen." I'll have to call BS on this one! Click here for the whole story.
Ya some dude stood in her yard and sold something, right ?? Nope, old ppl watch outside all the time, they have time for it........

ReplyDeleteWhat passes for law enforcement these days make me want to vomit. I've been on four or five raids with DEA in San Diego back in the early 80's, and we knew where we were going, who would be there (from surveillance) and _what_ we expected to find, and it was a down on a _real_ warrant, not the open-ended Charmins paper the cops are using these days.
ReplyDeleteEven with drugs, unless it was major weight, we had one to two uniforms at the door (usually my sorry face if it was on my beat), and the undercover guys behind us, watching other possible exits, etc.
I think more Americans should resist this. If somebody wants me for something like p*ssing on the front steps of the nearest mosque (do they have any in Montana?), come knock on my door and show me some paper. But - when you suit up in black, hiding your faces, remember what Jeff Cooper said: : Let us reflect upon the fact that a man who covers his face shows reason to be ashamed of what he is doing. A man who takes it upon himself to shed blood while concealing his identity is a revolting perversion of the warrior ethic. It has long been my conviction that a masked man with a gun is a target. I see no reason to change that view."
And there are worse ways to die besides bullets, as those women and children at Waco discovered. Any stacks that show up on my property had best be wearing Nomex and air pacs. Even then, I hope to send at least a few home in the same condition as those women and children. I'm old and banged up enough that dying holds little fear for me. "Another Sipsey Street" would be a fitting memorial.
