There is a great documentary about Muscle Shoals, Alabama and all the tremendous R&B and rock 'n' roll records that came outta there. Most of those recordings were produced using a mostly all-white studio band. Them boys could lay down a groove like no other, and got to be so famous and desirable that acts from around the world would come to Muscle Shoals to record.
