  2. That's why the term "Wage Slave" exists. And who are your masters? Those who you are never, ever permitted to criticize, or even notice.

  3. Here's another example from a different perspective:

  4. This is why you avoid taxes as much as possible. Buy and resell items, grow and sell items, make and sell items but never report or pay taxes on any of it. It seems to be the only way to survive these days.

    1. Yup. Starve the beast and learn "There are many ways to be "rich". Only 1 of them requires cash money and it's nowhere near foolproof."

  6. She was perfect! When you watch you want to help her figure it out or finish the sentence. It is like some awful karaoke singer dying midsong as he realizes how awful he is, only to have the audience join in to save him.

People will hear the truth from their inner voice and believe, rather than being told. The truth you find for yourself is the most powerful.

  7. She just saw the light flicker, and might even get the whole picture when she puts it all down on paper, baby steps people

  8. Hence the term "Taxed to Death."

  9. I saved money that was taxed when I earned it. When I cashed out those savings, I was taxed again. I used that money to buy and improve land, a house, a car. I was taxed on those purchases. I am yearly taxed on the land and home and car that I "own" for services that I don't use and if I don't pay, rough men with guns will come and take "my" property, confiscate it. Tell me that I "own" anything? I am one bad month away from living on the street.

    1. Jokes on them. I already own next to nothing (nothing adjacent) :) And I'm happier than a pig in shit, most days.

  10. Yeah, I doubt very much she "seriously thinks about this every single day", or seriously thinks about anything, any day, ever. If she did, she might have enough of a grasp of it to be able to address it verbally without flat lining. It's probably best if she continues to focus solely on her nails, eyelashes, eyebrows, cosmetics, fashion and likes on her social media, because at this point in her life that's all she's got.

  13. Glad she is grasping the concept, but she's not pissed enough. Yet. When she finally is, I hope someone tells her about the Boston Tea Party.

  15. I wonder what a dollar would be worth if all the taxes suddenly disappeared? Same as 100 yrs ago? Maf is hard for me.

  16. The worst part is all of those taxes go into the pockets of useless eaters who have done nothing to earn it.

  19. I've wondered of late if the tax crushing burden imposed on us is not equal to the crushing taxes the Bourbons pushed on the French people before the French Revolution exploded. What the elites fail to realize is it only take one small and relatively unrelated incident to set off a pile of dry tinder.

  32. Lovely lass. Waking up at just the right age too. All my kids had the epiphany at around age 16 when they received first paychecks from after school jobs at supermarket, Radio Shack or Wendies and then summer jobs and university.. Good lesson to learn young and to doubt all politicians everywhere, including company management, . .
