After work I was outside doing clean up in the yard. IT was beautiful today and almost hit 70.
The air was calm and it was slightly overcast. This was such a nice respite from winter heading
into spring. As the sun settled into the horizon, I became aware of the fact that I wasn't alone.
Fucking mosquitos were out. Are you shitting me? There is melt off still going on and anywhere in the
deep shade there is still hard pack snow/ ice. One fricken warm day and the blood suckers are
swarming. Kinda like politicians.....
had the same feeling yesterday. sitting on the front porch with my old dog and bam. 2 or 3 of the blood suckers came out of nowhere. nothing but nothing can fuck up a sunset like those fucking things. got so bad we went back inside the house.

ReplyDeleteAlready this year my AC which is set to 78 American has been running several times throughout the day. That was all of last week.
This week, especially today, the AC has been running ALL DAY. Mid March. Set to 78 mind you.
At least no skeeters or noseeums as of yet.
Garlic. 1 or 2 cooked cloves once a day depending on size of the clove. I usually have one with the evening meal. YMMV
